With the idea of Philadelphia having its own WNBA team, a logo and team brand identity were created. Alongside this brand is a community association in partnership with the team for the city of Kensington in Philadelphia. “Forge a Green Future” stands for improving the ecological health of Kensington by planting trees throughout the city. Fans at a home game receive a goodie bag by this association raising awareness. Fans receive items including a pair of socks to wear to an event to plant tress where they have a chance win free tickets to the team’s next game.
